Brink UK Environmental Policy

Brink UK limited is based at the Centrovell Industrial Estate on Caldwell Road Nuneaton and is a distributor and assembler of UK style 2 bolt flange, fixed swan neck, semi automatic and fully automatic detachable towbar systems for the automotive industry. Its market is comprised of car manufacturers, importers, wholesale parts distributors, car leasing companies, motor factors and towbar specialists. The Company's market extends throughout the British Isles and Ireland. Brink UK limited maintains a policy of environmental evaluation, appropriate communication with interested parties and a continuous programme of environmental improvement.

The environment is understood to mean:
The surroundings and activities of the company, including all life forms within the surroundings. Where the environmental effects of the company reach all parts of the planet, the environment extends from the workplace to the total ecosystem.

Environmental assurance is understood to mean:
All efforts and activities of the company are aimed at gaining insight into controlling and, where possible, reducing the effects of operational management on the environment. The company accepts responsibility for managing the environmental impacts of its activity products and services and will continue to improve its environmental performance. We will provide relevant information regarding the potential environmental impacts of our operations, to our employees, the general public and regulation authorities. In formulating this policy, Brink UK Limited is committed to:

- Continual improvement of our management system to achieve improvements in overall environmental performance, referenced within the companys five year business plan.

- Prevention of pollution, by use of processes, practices, materials, or products that avoid, reduce, or control pollution and through use of the companys internal audit schedule and operational controls.

- Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations and other requirements to which the company subscribes through use of the companys internal audit schedule, operational controls and regular updates of relevant legislation.

- Implementing this policy through communication to all personnel.

- Setting and reviewing of environmental objectives and targets, through the formal annual management review process.

- Making this policy publicly available.

Energy and resource management
Where possible the company will:

- Make efficient use of energy.

- Reduce polluting emissions and waste from its operations.

- Conserve non-renewable resources.

- Make sustainable usage of renewable resources.

- Examine opportunities for re-use and recycling of materials.
